Here’s our favorite supplement protocol for any upper respiratory infection
Vitamin C: Lypospheric – 1 packet 2-3 times daily. Take on an empty stomach (30 min before food or 1 hour after).
For an added immune boost, add multiple forms of vitamin C:
-Buffered: 1000 mg, take 6 capsules throughout the day with or without food.
-Fat soluble (ascorbyl palmitate): 450 mg, 3-4 capsules throughout the day with food.
-Food based C from NutriGold: 3-4 capsules throughout the day with food.
Vitamin A: 100,000 IU daily with food that includes a source of fat for 4-5 days. Then taper down every 3-4 days until you are at 10,000 IU over 2 weeks.
Vitamin D3: 100,000 IU in the morning with food that includes a source of fat. Taper down every 3-4 days over 1-2 weeks down to 10,000 IU daily.
Zinc: 45 mg 1-2 times daily. Can be in lozenges or capsules.
NAC (N-Acetyl L-Cysteine): 1200 mg at bedtime on an empty stomach.
