To become certified to give therapies, I pursued a 1000 Hr Holistic Health Practitioner program to learn several East/West modalities including Herbology and Nutrition.
I had the opportunity to intern at The Optimum Health Institute, another wellness center but where their approach was healing from the nutrition of raw foods, and wheatgrass. It was an interesting experience to observe from a Western approach on the opposite spectrum of Ayurveda.
As I began to have my own children, I fell in love with the birth process and chose to transition my practice into Holistic Midwifery for the next 10 years. It was very beautiful and fulfilling but I chose to retire and return full circle to Ayurveda, my true passion.
I have been trained extensively in Ayurvedic Wellness which includes diet & lifestyle counseling, as well as classical Ayurvedic treatments. I had the wonderful opportunity in the fall of 2019 to be hired as a contractor for an Ayurvedic Clinic in India where I was able to embrace the concepts of Ayurveda and the body therapies right from the source, and offer training on the treatments from a western approach.
Upon returning from India, I moved back to Utah after 25 years to offer Ayurveda and share it’s benefits with those who resonate with it. I offer training and workshops in the body therapies and also teach Ayurveda at Healing Mountain Massage School. I include clinical CBD consultations and education, as well as Vedic Astrology in my practice.
