Each of our aesthetic consultants is trained to handle our modern collection of technology, such as the Harmony XL PRO. In order to help you acquire the look you crave, our staff works to learn about you on a personal level to better recognize your desires and insecurities and organize a treatment plan that completely focuses on them. Jennie Cameron - Clinic and Spa Director
Clinic and spa director Jennie Cameron is an experienced business leader who oversees administrative affairs and ensures optimal patient care. She and her husband, Dr. Todd Cameron started the center in 1996 where she became the Clinic Director at that time. Jennie was the proud recipient of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 small business program scholarship in 2013 and the 16 weeks in the program added extensive knowledge to the business about metrics, marketing, leadership, and what it takes to create a successful, thriving small business.
Michelle Christensen - Clinic Manager
As clinic manager of Cameron Wellness and Spa, Michelle helps foster a professional, warm environment where patients feel welcome. She has been working as the clinic manager of Cameron Wellness and Spa for more than six years. She strives to use her 25 plus years of management experience to help the clinic run smoothly and create a healing, compassionate atmosphere. Michelle loves the opportunity for constant learning, as well as building relationships with patients. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor adventures and making jewelry that she sells online and at the clinic. She has known and loved the Camerons for more than 20 years and believes in their dream of holistic, individualized healthcare for everyone.
Aimee Steinly - Nurse Practitioner
Aimee has been a nurse practitioner since 2018 in gastroenterology and colorectal surgery. She is skilled in minor procedures and ablative therapies. Prior to finishing her doctorate degree at the University of Utah, she was a registered nurse for 14 years and has worked in many areas of care including plastics/aesthetics. Aimee has always had a passion for natural medicine and integrates this into her daily practice. In her off time she loves to travel, walk her two dogs, make fun memories with her son, attend live music and socialize with friends/family.
Jacqueline Smithers, APRN
Jacqueline Smithers joins Cameron Wellness and Spa after 23 years of private practice at Women’s Health Services, Cottonwood Heights, Utah. After working as a solo business owner and provider, Jacqueline is looking forward to joining a group practice with similar ideals.
Jacqueline’s background has been mostly in the care of women, both primary care and OB/Gyn. She also enjoys working in nutrition and natural complementary care. Her motto has always been “Helping Women Every Age and Every Stage.” She is an advocate for women in business, women in healthcare, and health and wellness answers that are individualized for each patient. She has been a part of several overseas Humanitarian efforts for women and children’s health as well.
Not a native, but calling Utah home after 30 years, Jacqueline enjoys all the Utah outdoors have to offer. Her hobbies include gardening, cycling, hiking and adventures with her Labrador Retriever. As her children are grown and busy in own their lives, she and her husband look forward to grandchildren and travel.
Terri Henso - Registered Nurse
Terri Henson, a registered nurse, recently joined the Cameron Wellness family. She raised 5 children and then got a nursing degree. One her first jobs was working with a naturopathic doctor near Boise, Idaho. Her personal motto was “prevention is worth a pound of cure.” She also modeled her career after the saying, “let food be thy medicine.” Hippocrates
She went in to the surgical services because it was fascinating and gratifying. However, now that she’s a grandmother of 14, her interests have changed. Her heart wants to be fulfilled with a more meaningful career. She loves studying and talking about health and nutrition to anyone that shares her interests.
She recently helped open an IV vitamin and supplement infusion store, so she has great IV skills! By witnessing first hand how naturopathic medicine saved a family members’ life, and how it continues to support her health today; this has stregthened her testimony about how the naturopathic avenue can prevent, heal, and restore.
Denise Gascoigne, Registered Nutritionist and Wellness Coach
Introducing Denise Gascoigne, a highly experienced Registered Dietitian, Nutritionist, National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, International Coaching Federation Professional Certified Coach, and Registered Somatic Movement Educator. Denise is excited to join the Cameron Wellness Center & Spa, working alongside Todd Cameron, a knowledgeable naturopathic doctor and expert in the field of hormone regulation.
Nat Avelar - Office Staff/Esthetician
Natalia is an licensed esthetician with 600 hours of esthetics experience at DATC (Davis applied technical college). Graduating in fall of 2021, she has continued her education in the world of esthetics. Never missing an opportunity to learn something new.
Even at an early age, she knew her passion was skin and beauty. Natalia loves being able to provide services that will make you feel and look glamorous. She also enjoys being able to teach other the importance of skin and beauty care. She also does a wonderful job keeping our patients happy at the front desk, thanks Nat!
Nora Schneider - Medical Assistant
Nora is a medical assistant who has a gentle and precise poke. She is enthusiastic and vital, if you catch her after 10AM. Our resident 'plant wizard' is partly responsible for keeping Cameron Wellness green and lush. Nora enjoys and encourages a life of exercise, meditation, and concentration.
